How to check Vehicle verification | Track Application

MTMIS is an online platform that allows citizens to get essential details about their vehicles from home. The Excise and Taxation & Narcotics Control Department of Punjab manages it.

How to Verify a Vehicle in Punjab

Step-1 Access the MTMIS Punjab Website. You can find it by typing “MTMIS Punjab” in your browser search bar.

Step-2 Enter Vehicle Registration Details:

  • Find the vehicle verification section on the homepage 
  • Type your vehicle registration number in that section. For example: ‘ABC 123’ or ‘ABC-07-1234’.
  • Complete the captcha verification for further process

Step-3 Retrieve Vehicle Information:

  • Click on the “Search” or “Submit” button to get the details.

The system will display detailed information about the vehicle, including:

  • Owner’s Name
  • Father’s/Husband’s Name
  • Owner’s City
  • Chassis Number
  • Engine Number
  • Make and Model
  • Registration Date
  • Vehicle Price
  • Color
  • Token Tax Paid Up To
  • Application Type
  • Challan Paid Date
  • Application Current Status
  • Inspection Date

How to Track Application Procedure

MTMIS Punjab also offers an application tracking service. Through this service, users can monitor the status of their applications related to their vehicles.

To use this feature:

  1. Visit the official MTMIS Punjab website.
  2. Click on the “Application Tracking” option.
  3. Enter your Application/Tracking Number and the vehicle’s Chassis Number.
  4. Complete the captcha verification and then simply submit it. 
  5. After this, the current status of your application will be displayed on your screen, and it’ll show you whether your application is approved, pending, or requires further action.

Please make sure that the registration number which you entered is correct so that you can get accurate information

The details will be provided from the record of MTMIS, which is maintained by the Excise and Taxation & Narcotics Control Department.
